Neurosurgical and Neurotrauma
Dr. Sherr earned his M.D. and an M.P.H. in medical informatics at New York Medical College. He completed his neurosurgical residency, and a fellowship in complex neurotrauma and surgical critical care, at the University of Minnesota. Prior to entering medical school he held several positions in academic administration and in the information technology field, including a three year stint as the webmaster for the New York Medical College. Greg has a special interest and advanced training in the area of complex neurotrama and surgical critical care. He will be working in collaboration with other specialists at the St. Cloud Hospital and within the region it serves to expand our ability to serve neurotrauma patients.
A native of New York State, Dr. Sherr is fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and French, and has served as a volunteer medical interpreter. He is married to Laura Jayne Sherr, who earned a doctorate in counseling psychology at the University of Minnesota. They have a two-year-old son, Zachary. Greg’s hobbies include playing drums, piano, outdoor activities, physics and golf. |
